LME LEADS THE INDUSTRY IN LT2 PERFORMANCE

The high performance industry is always taking steps further and further into the world of unknown and uncertainty. When a new platform comes out its always a race to see who can do what first. LME Doesn’t prefer to choose the "We were first route." We prefer to do something that hasn't been done and do it better than anyone else could. Our team is constantly coming up with new designs, fresh products, and better ways to make more power. Our products are made to save customers time, and be more reliable. The C8 LT2 platform is no different. We built our first few LT2's and R&D them with a few shops we work closely with. It didn't take long to realize the crankcase is completely sealed on a LT2. This is not good when boosting an engine. As you can imagine once boost was put to the engine seals started blowing. We did our tear down annulus and came up with a solution. We machined the valley of these blocks to install bronze bushings. The bushings open up the crankcase to allow pressure to excavate an go into the breathers on the valve covers. What the bushings also do is allow oil to pool up for the top oil pump to still do its job. We didn't want to change this dry sump system the GM engineers spent a lot of time designing.
